Our Adviser & Managing Director:
Jason Harris is a 3rd generation Insurance professional.
Jason began his professional career in the Furniture, Joinery and Construction Industries earning a NZ Trade Certificate in 2003. He later applied his knowledge of the trade sector to the Insurance Industry, achieving the Certificate IV in General Insurance and becoming an Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) in 2007, gaining two academic industry awards in the process. In 2020 Jason completed his Diploma of Insurance Broking and became a Senior Associate of ANZIIF. He also successfully achieved the ANZIIF New Zealand Compliance for Advisers [General Insurance Broking] and in doing so has met the standards required under the Financial Services Legislation Amendment Act 2019 as a Level 5 equivalent Financial Adviser.
With more than 10 years experience in Intermediated Underwriting and almost 20 years industry experience, Jason offers exceptional knowledge and understanding of the Insurance market, both Locally and Nationally.
Whether it’s Commercial, Domestic or Corporate Insurance, Jason is driven to provide the best customer service, advice and advocacy to his customers.
Outside of work, Jason loves spending time with his Wife, two Daughters, and his cars. Jason also holds the rank of Volunteer Senior Firefighter with FENZ where he has been volunteering in the Upper Hutt Community for over 14 years.
